Online Training Program for teachers in cross-border cooperation for the development of the SDGs in schools
ACT! project focuses on developing the needed tools and methods so as children and teachers from different countries and educational and cultural environments to work co-creatively on global topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The ACT! project was developed by a 4 country-partnership (Denmark, Greece, Romania and Italy), and was funded by the European Union, through the Erasmus+ Program KA2, for the period 2021-2024.
This Online Training Program has been developed for teachers in primary and upper secondary schools, with a focus on the development of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and cross-border cooperation within the school environment. The aim is to enhance teachers’ knowledge and skills pertaining to the SDGs, while fostering cross-border and learning synergies.
The Online Training Program consists of short-term training, comprising five (5) modules that cover a wide range of topics relevant to this subject area. The modules are as follows:
Module 1: What are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals?
Module 2: Environmental sustainability.
Module 3: Social sustainable development.
Module 4: Sustainable economy and development.
Module 5: Cross-border Learning.
This Online Training Program is provided free of charge and can be easily accessed from any device. It is available in English, Danish, Greek, Romanian and Italian.You, as a teacher, can go through the training program at any time and learn at your own pace.
Each module is designed to provide comprehensive learning materials. It includes introductory videos, theoretical components, suggested activities, practical examples on applying the acquired knowledge within school settings, best practices, and quizzes at the end of each module. Υou can go through the modules in any order!
