ACT! project focuses on developing the needed tools and methods so as children and teachers from different countries and educational and cultural environments to work together (co-creative) on global topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The ACT! project was developed by a 4 country-partnership (Denmark, Greece, Romania and Italy), and funded by the European Union, through the Erasmus+ Program KA2, for the period 2021-2024.
This Online Training Program has been developed for teachers in primary and upper secondary schools (especially with 14–18-year-old students) with a focus on the development of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and cross-border cooperation within the school environment. The aim is to enhance teachers’ knowledge and skills pertaining to the SDGs, while fostering cross-border and learning synergies.
The Online Training Program consists of short-term training, comprising five (5) modules that cover a wide range of topics relevant to this subject area. The modules are as follows:
Module 1: What are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals?
Module 2: Environmental sustainability.
Module 3: Sustainable economy and development.
Module 4: Social sustainable development.
Module 5: Cross-border Learning.
This Online Training Program is provided free of charge and can be easily accessed from any device. It is available in English, Danish, Greek, Romanian and Italian. After the finalization of the training program, you, as a teacher, will be able to run the training program at any time and learn at your own pace, without the presence of an external trainer.
Each module is designed to provide comprehensive learning materials. It includes introductory videos, theoretical components, suggested activities, practical examples on applying the acquired knowledge within school settings, best practices, and quizzes at the end of each module.
We would like to thank you for your interest in the project and to wish you a pleasant and sustainable learning!
Fostering a global mindset to next generation requires training, self-awareness and open space for collaboration and interaction.
