Everything you need to know about ACT! Sustainable Development Goals

About the project

The project ACT! was created to support Sustainable Development Goals. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 goals defined by the United Nations to tackle the world’s biggest problems by 2030. The goals derive from the United Nations’ international agreements on processing towards explicit sustainability in 2030, shared in the United Nations Development Programme.

Our project, “Taking action in schools for a more sustainable world through Sustainable Development Goals – ACT!“ is now approved! ACT! is an Erasmus+ KA2 project which will last 28 months beginning in December 2021 and ending in April 2024.

Which are the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the following 17 goals:

  4. Quality Education

  5. Gender equality

  6. Clean water & Sanitation

  7. Affordable and Clean energy

  8. Decent work & Economic growth

  9. Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure

  12. Responsible consumption & production

  13. Climate action

  14. Life underwater

  15. Life on land

  16. Peace, justice & strong institutions

  17. Partnership for the goals

A goal without a plan, is just a wish!

How will the project’s aims be accomplished?

During the ACT’s implementation, four project results will be developed and created. The project results are the following:

  1. Self-Reflection Tool for teachers on cross-border learning synergies for the SDGs
  2. Online Training Program for teachers in cross-border cooperation for the development of the SDGs in schools
  3. Community e-platform for cross-border cooperation on the SDGs
  4. Online Workshops for cross-border cooperation on the SDGs
