ΑCT! For the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN

The Educational Organisation Themistoklis hosted, in September, the partners from Denmark, Romania, Greece (Patras), Italy of the approved ERASMUS + program called “ACT”.

ACT is a program focused on raising the awareness of teachers, students, but also of the whole community, on issues related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

In 2015, world leaders unanimously endorsed the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. They set these goals in order to ensure a more peaceful and greener world. A world that will respond to the needs and expectations of young people and ultimately to their well-being.

During the workshop, that took place during the meeting, all partners worked on the platform, which you can visit at https://act-project.eu/. The e-learning tools will provide you with information on each Goal.

In the frame of this program, the high-school students of the Educational Organisation Themistoklis, are working on topics related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, during the skills workshop lesson, and as a result the recipients (students) then become the agents, for disseminating the information on this topic. For this reason, students designed board games, wrote song lyrics, worked on ideas for short films, hoping to inform and awaken their peers to dream of a more “sustainable future”.
