We are thrilled to share our latest initiative, the Self-Reflection Tool (SRT) for teachers, developed through a fruitful partnership that focuses on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and cross-border learning. Our dedicated ACT! team crafted a solid framework as the groundwork for this innovative tool.
With the Self-Reflection Tool, we aim to provide teachers with an engaging and user-friendly tool that enables them to assess their understanding of the SDGs and cross-border learning, while evaluating their current teaching practices. This tool is not designed to judge their experience or work as educators; rather, it serves as a guiding compass, drawing their attention to different aspects of the SDGs and encouraging thoughtful reflection on how they can effectively integrate them into their teaching approach.
We embrace the idea that every teacher is unique, and their strengths and preferences may vary. It’s absolutely fine for educators to find certain tasks more comfortable and familiar due to their interests, subjects they teach, or personal preferences. Our Self-Reflection Tool acknowledges these individual differences and offers a holistic assessment that accommodates diverse teaching styles. Upon completing the self-assessment, teachers will receive a personalized report showcasing their results. This insightful report will help them identify areas where they excel and others that may benefit from further attention and development. Rest assured, any information provided in the Self-Reflection Tool remains completely anonymous, ensuring privacy and confidentiality for all users.
We understand the value of educators’ time, and that’s why we’ve designed the Self-Reflection Tool to be efficient, taking just 10 to 15 minutes to complete. This way, teachers can gain valuable insights without the burden of a time-consuming process. At ACT! project, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for teachers, empowering them to create meaningful and impactful learning experiences for their students. The Self-Reflection Tool is a significant step towards achieving this goal, and we are excited to share this opportunity with educators worldwide.
Join us on this journey of growth and exploration as we embrace the SDGs and cross-border learning together, making a positive impact in classrooms and beyond. Together, we can create a brighter and more sustainable future for generations to come.
